He preached the word, especially jesus christ and him crucified (2:1). That’s a good place to begin. 8 he who plants and he who waters are one, and each will receive his wages according to his labor
7 So Then Neither Is He That Planteth Any Thing, Neither He That Watereth;
Both were useful, one for one purpose, the other for another. “i [paul] planted the seed, apollos watered it, but god made it grow.”. I’m going to take advantage of those three dots to take a quick look at apollos and his ministry in corinth before finishing paul’s sentence.
